After an amazing job in helping establish our new home ground at Waratah Oval, our trusted partner Beach Constructions will continue its partnership with Southern Power AFC for the 2018 season.

**Season 2018 Draw Announcement**

Get excited Power fans, as the draw for season 2018 has been announced! We kick off our premiership assaults on Saturday 7th April.

After many years of hard work and sacrifice by committee members, past and present, we have finally moved full time to our new multi-million dollar facility at Waratah Oval for ALL home games this year. With the state-of-the-art lighting in place, we will be lucky enough to have a few Saturday evening games at home this year!
 
Pre-season training continues in earnest tonight at 6.30pm, so make sure you get on down to be a part of a great year at the Power!

Trial Game – Saturday 10th March 2018

After many long months of hard work on the track, it’s finally time to play some footy.

We welcome our good rivals UTS Shamrocks and UTS Bats to our brand new multi-million dollar home ground as we unofficially kick off 2018 at Waratah Oval.

Big thanks to our long term partner Club Kirrawee for this week’s trial games.

**2018 Trial Game Schedule Announced**

23rd February, 2018

The time has come around to put everything practiced in pre-season into action and get stuck into some games.

We’re delighted to announce the following events to book-end our pre-season schedule:

– Monday 26th February: Intra Club game at training. The usual details apply for this (6.45pm kick off at Waratah Oval).

– Saturday 10th March: Trial games v UTS Bats And Shamrocks Football Club at Waratah Oval.
– 11am: Women’s game (TBC). Please stay tuned for further announcements.
– 12.30pm: Men’s game.

– Saturday 17th March: Trial games v Wollongong Lions and Wollongong Saints Women’s Australian Football Club at Waratah Oval.
– 11am: Women’s game.
– 12.30pm: Men’s game.

Please make sure you notify your availability to the coaching staff before each trial game.

**Attention New Players**

16th February, 2018

If you have decided to join the Southern Power’s quest for glory in 2018, and have played footy at another club before (seniors or juniors), you will need to have a transfer put in from your old club.

In order to take advantage of the registration discount of $30 that’s available until the end of the month, please provide the following information to us:

– Full name
– Date of birth
– Email address

Our registration team will then put the transfer in for you, which should take no longer than a week.
